During this Holiday season our Oasis family is looking to reach out and help families in need. We are very aware that there are many families out there that are struggling and the Holiday’s can be a very stressful time of year.
This year at Oasis we are putting together a “giving tree” that we hope will help our struggling families that attend our school.
Families will be recommended for the Giving Tree and these families will be asked to complete a list which will include each family member and their wants and needs for the Holidays. Once these lists are returned, ornaments will be made and each ornament will include a family number, gender, age, and items they wish to receive for Christmas. These ornaments will then be placed in a basket that will be in the front office. Staff, parents, volunteers, etc. will have the opportunity to select an ornament and purchase the gifts listed. Please know that the families in need will be kept completely confidential. The only persons who will be aware of the families in need are the people who refer the family, the School Counselor, and Administration.
